Prof. Justin Sangwook Ko, M.D., Ph.D. is currently a Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine and Samsung Medical Center, Seoul, Korea. He obtained his M.D. from Hanyang University in 2001, followed by a Master’s degree from Chung Nam University in 2009 and a Ph.D. from Choongbuk University in 2012. Professor Ko’s career began with a fellowship at Samsung Medical Center (2006-2008), and he subsequently held faculty positions ranging from Clinical Assistant Professor to Associate Professor at Sungkyunkwan University. He also served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of California, San Diego (2014-2015). He became a full Professor in March 2022. He currently holds various executive committee positions in 5 associations both in Korea and Asia such as Director of Scientific Affairs of the Korean Society of Anesthesiologists, Director of Scientific Affairs of the Korean Society for Patient Blood Management and Secretary of Asian Australiasian Regional Section of the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists, just to name a few.

Prof. Yasuko Nagasaka, M.D, PhD. graduated from Tokyo Women’s Medical College, now Tokyo Women’s Medical University, in 1994. She began her medical training in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s International Hospital in Tokyo, where she also completed her training in Anesthesiology in 2003. Her research career took off in the same year, when she became a Research Fellow and PhD candidate in the Department of Anesthesia at Tokyo Women’s Medical University.
In 2005, she moved to the United States to work with Dr. Warren M. Zapol and Dr. Kenneth D. Bloch as a research fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School where she stayed on as a staff for 6 months. She began her clinical training in the U.S. in 2010 as a Categorical Intern in Medicine at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She completed her residency in Anesthesiology and a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Anesthesia at Massachusetts General Hospital.
After returning to Japan in 2016, she became Chair of the Department of Anesthesia at St. Luke’s International Hospital and later at Tokyo Women’s Medical University. She also serves as an associate editor for several prestigious journals and remains active in clinical practice, research, and education

Dr. Prin Vathesatogkit, M.D. is a cardiology consultant at the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand, since 2008, and project manager at the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) study since 2010. He completed his fellowship in cardiology at Ramathibodi Hospital (2006-2008) and previously served as a resident in internal medicine (2003-2006). He completed both his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiology at Ramathibodi Hospital, Earlier, he was a clinical observer in internal medicine and infectious disease at John Radcliffe Hospital and Churchill Hospital in Oxford, UK (2001-2002), and a research assistant in the MRC Molecular Haematology Unit, Oxford University (2002-2003). He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree with second-class honors from Mahidol University, Bangkok (2000).
He has attended special trainings such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Program by the American Heart Association (2008) and the Oxford Deanery Overseas Doctors Induction Course in the UK (2002). He has participated in international multicenter clinical trials, including CRESCENDO, SEPIA, PLATO, STABILITY, and ATLAS.
Dr Prin has received numerous awards, such as the “Young Investigator Award” from the Thai Heart Association (2009 and 2013) and the Asia Pacific Society of Cardiology “Young Investigator Award” (2010). He is a member of the research committee of the Royal College of Physicians of Thailand and serve on the editorial board of the Thai Heart Journal. His roles and contributions emphasize both clinical excellence and research within the field of cardiology.

Dr. Nguyễn Toàn Thắng, Ph.D. is a highly trained specialist in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, having completed his residency and Ph.D. at Hanoi Medical University. He currently serves as the Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation at Bach Mai Hospital and as the Deputy Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation at Hanoi Medical University.
Dr. Thắng has authored over 70 publications in both national and international journals and serves as a reviewer for several prestigious journals, including the Vietnam Journal of Medicine, Journal of Anesthesia and Clinical Research, World Journal of Surgery, and Asian Journal of Anesthesiology.
His research interests are focused on perioperative care, critical care management, and the development of new strategies in anesthetic techniques, including the use of ERAS protocols in surgery and the management of postoperative complications
